Hello there! I'm also new in this site, just thought it might help me broaden my knowledge about wines. What type of wine did you start off with? And among those that you've tasted, what did you like the most? Tasting a lot of different wines will help in first identifying your personal preferences, and you can look for more of those variety once you know what characteristics you like in wines.

For other things you might want to look into, Gary Vaynerchuk's wine blog is gaining popularity recently. You might be able to learn some more about wine through his program named Wine Library TV. Cheers!
